Sorry i haven't posted in a while, I have been really busy. Taking care of 4 kids and trying to cook from scratch isn't that easy. Matter of fact, its really time consuming...lol... This past weekend my husband and I went on a date. When we went out to dinner, we tried to stay with stuff we knew had no preservs, like fresh seafood and such but man....it was hard. People just dont make anything from scratch anymore. The food made us feel so bloated and unhealthy. My husband told me on the way home, that he loves our new way of eating and he couldn't wait to get this food out of his system, which made me feel really good that he liked the change.
The other day at school, my 4 year old told his pre-school teacher that he couldn't eat at school anymore cause their food had chemicals in it and if he ate it, he would die. When his teacher called me, shejust wanted to make sure she knew what he was talking about, she thought it was really cute that he was such on board with it. She said she wishes all of the kids were like that.lol....
Since we have been eating like this, i have NO problem with my kids eating, they love all the new food. I try to get them to help me cook so they can not only learn how to cook but to feel proud that they cooked it. That helps alot too!
So over the past week, I have tried some new recipes that i will psot up (its the links)
The first one is All Natural Banana Bread, which is totally awesome!! I added walnuts to it and made it banana nut bread...yummmm then i made the same recipe but added organic chocolate chips and made banana chocolate chip muffins for the kids--they didnt last long :)

We also made some more organic tortillas (which i posted the recipe in other post but will post again) with all natural turkey meat, organic cheese, organic tomatoes and organic romane lettuce. It was so....good! The kids have been wanting it every day for lunch. At least they are getting a break from the banana honey peanut butter sandwich...lol
